| Purpose of picture frames and mountsWhy frame and mount?Posted: 28th November 2010Frames and mounts each have individual jobs to do for your picture. It is important that you choose carefully your picture frame and mount as the wrong choice can make your artwork look terrible. Professionals can easily tell you which frame will best fit your picture. Before you frame you artwork, make sure you have removed the bits you do not want from the picture. It will not look very nice if there is a gap between the picture and mount/frame. The option is available to increase and decrease the size of your photograph with most developers. Having a wide mount that also has a neutral colour will help your pictures and photos to be more eye-catching. The reason there is a mount is so that it directs the viewer’s eye to your artwork and also to improve the look of it. The point is to enhance the look of the photograph, not steal the attention from it – it is for this reason that you should opt for a neutrally coloured mount. You must put a lot of care into choosing your frame’s colour, as brightly coloured frames can take away from the beauty of your pictures. 20101128eFrame is expanding!More new staffPosted: 26th November 2009Over the last couple of weeks we have become extremely busy as everyone goes crazy for Christmas. The result of this being that we have had to employ a couple of new temporary staff this week You can begin to understand how important is it for us to get your order to you perfectly everytime. From everyone at eFrame.co.uk - Welcome to the 'crazy gang' Nathaniel and Adam. One last thing and I know we've said this before but if you are purchasing your Christmas gifts from us this year then we recommend you place the order soon. Thanks JP 20091126Children In Need 2009Well done everyone!Posted: 26th November 2009Last Thursday myself and the other men from production had our chests and legs waxed to raise money for Children In Need. This turned out to be very painful and had us all thinking, 'Why did we agree to this?'. We did however manage to raise a great amount and it seemed everyone else had a wonderful time enjoying the pain we were in. The management ended up buying us all a Domino's pizza for our recent efforts, so on behalf of everyone - thank you Boss! The generosity didn't stop there, the management also decided that the company would be giving a percentage of the days takings to the cause as well. Our production manager Phil took some pictures of the event and when he brings them in I'll add a couple on the website. Some classics in there no doubt. The final total raised from the waxing and the donation from the eFrame.co.uk was £650! This beat last years effort so well done and a big thank you to everyone involved! A hairless JP 20091126Children In Need 2009 - The Event!D-day for the BoysPosted: 19th November 2009Those who follow our News updates regularly on eFrame.co.uk will know that we as a company will be taking part in Children In Need today, this is because some of the boys are not here tomorrow. The fundraising event this year - as confirmed on the 9th - is of course the dreaded body waxing! At 1:30pm the boys will start having their legs and chests waxed, as one of the crazy bunch taking part I'm not particularly looking forward to this but luckily for you all I will be documenting the event with my video camera and our Production manager Phil will be taking the snaps! The only consolation for us is that the management are providing us with a Domino's pizza for taking part - it did sound like a great deal at the time. The staff have raised a lot of money amongst themselves already and the company will donate a percentage of the days takings too, so if you're thinking of ordering with us soon do it tomorrow and you'll be contributing to a great cause! On Monday I will post the videos and pictures on the website, along with the final total raised! Think of us brave lads who bared our souls (well legs and chests) for a worthy cause. A very anxious and still hairy JP 20091119Recycling at eFrame.co.ukThe environmentally conscious framersPosted: 18th November 2009Everyone knows the effects of global warming and the need to recycle and reuse has been a major talking point over the last few years. We're constantly being told that recycling is easy and cost efficient and at eFrame.co.uk we are very conscious of this and can proudly say that 99% of our waste does get recycled. Obviously many of our products are made from wood and so we are also aware of the need to source from renewable and sustainable resources. In this regard, our suppliers have assured us that the wooden mouldings we buy are sourced from forests which operate in accordance with the principles of good forest management.
