Using art as an accessory

March 5, 2010
Posted in Photo Frames — Written by Jack

Art is an affordable type of accessory for you to have in your home. Having various types of art varying from prints to painting to photographs on the walls of your home is a great way to make your home feel homely.

Framing and hanging your favourite photographs is an easy way to put a splash of vibrancy into a room in your home. If you are going to hang photos on the wall, you should hang an odd number of photographs i.e. one, three, five etc. If you are hanging more than one photograph is would be advisable to choose the same photo frame for this particular collection of photographs.

Although it might look cool and funky to have an arrangement of mixed and matched photographs and frames on the wall of your home, it can be difficult to pull off unless you really know what you are doing. It is probably best to stick to having the same frames for your photographs.

If you are unsure about what type of photo frame to use, ask advice from a professional framer. They will be able to tell you which mount and frame you should use for your photographs.
