Framing your prints

June 4, 2010
Posted in Poster Frames — Written by Jack

Prints have become a popular type of artwork to have in ones home and they can add a splash of colour and design onto a wall that is otherwise plain and simple. Spicing up your living room or bedroom is very easy when you use artwork and one of the many benefits of having a selection of prints in your home means that you can rotate them round to keep it fresh.

Prints, although they can be stuck onto the wall, they always look their best when they are held inside and presented in a frame with or without a mount. A frame will ensure that your print lasts for considerably longer than if you just stuck it on the wall with pins.

When choosing the right frame for your print you need to take into consideration the style of the artwork contained within the print. This may be a contemporary style or something a little more traditional. In order to ensure that your frame suits the artwork inside, you should compare and contrast the available types of frames next to your artwork so that you make the right decision.
