Contemporary or traditional frame

Picture frames and mounts come in all different shapes and sizes. You can have frames especially made to fit your artwork if you are struggling to find the right sizes for your various pieces of artwork. Ensuring that you have the right size of frame will aid in protecting your artwork for its lifespan. Taking care of your artwork is very important. You don’t want to spend a lot of money, only to find that it fades or looks tatty after a couple of months without a frame.

The frame, mount and glass in the frame prevents any moisture and damaging UVA and UVB rays from making your artwork look unprofessional. With a mount, it will help to guide the eye to towards your artwork and make sure that the painting or print stands out when it is mounted on the wall.

Choosing the frame to go with your print, photo or painting to go with the mount, you will need to decide whether you want a contemporary or more traditional type of frame. Traditional picture frames look great with paintings, whereas prints and photos look far better when they are displayed in a contemporary frame.
