Contemporary and traditional mirrors

A framed mirror can work wonders in any room in your home and many people forget that the finishing touches within a room often make the room feel warm, comforting and homely.

Mirrors can be used in a variety of locations within a home, but you mostly find them in bathrooms, hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. Each of these rooms requires a mirror for a different reason. In a living room for example, the framed mirror is the centre piece of the room and is often located above the fireplace. The framed mirror in this location creates a focal point in which to focus on.

However, when you have a framed mirror in a bathroom for example, although it might be there for practical purposes, it is also helping to enhance the space and make it appear larger than it actual is.

Mirrors are fantastic for using as optical illusions and it is for this reason that they are often placed within space rooms to make it appear larger and to give a feeling of space. There are many different framed mirrors for you to choose from, including contemporary styles as well as more traditional styles of mirror.
